Just give it more time. At least your child isn't screaming, "touch it, touch it" at the top of his lungs when just has to, well, touch it. I will say that fortunately Buster only shared his need to potty outside when in our own yard and most of the time he was in our back yard. There were even a few times that I insisted he pee outside as he was totally covered in mud/dirt and was not under any circumstances, except maybe a tornado, was he going into the house unless first hosed down. So off to the corner he learned to march. I guess that's the blessing and the curse of having little boys. We have also pulled over on the side of the road many times to let him go. It's just not that easy for girls.

there should be some sort of portable, instantly retractable, stand-up shower curtain to give privacy for when those awkward kiddie moments happen...haha
